Selena Gomez is not only known for dating Justin Bieber these days, but she’s become quite the trend setter since shedding her Disney princess title. Selena has always been known for her cute outfits, but her style has definitely matured in the passed few years. Her music video for ‘Love You Like A Love Song’ and ‘Hit The Lights’ sees her with a different style of make-up and clothing – brighter shades and bold colour choices.
As you can see, Selena is loving the current trend, colour blocking. Her turquoise and pink outfit is a great example of pulling off colour blocking the right way.
A simple floral dress or floral skirt and plain fitted top can be teamed up with a denim jacket which makes a great look for Summer.
If you are not too keen on full on colour you can introduce it slowly into your outfit. A black dress or skirt can look even better with a bright coloured belt and/or bright bracelets or rings.
Bright colours are not only for clothing but hair too! You can either add clip-on coloured hair strands or use temporary coloured hairspraypaint to add an interesting twist to your outfit as Selena has above.
